Regarding The Forbidden Land, Eureka Rewind Issue (Mar. 16)

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused due to the data rewind issue which occurred in The Forbidden Land, Eureka.
The issue was addressed in the emergency maintenances on Kugane (Mar. 14 PDT) and content World (Mar. 15 PDT), however, since there were different rewind patterns, we would like to inform you of the details.

■Cause of Issue Addressed on Mar. 14, 2018 1:00 a.m. (PDT)
In this pattern, the issue occurred when repeated attempts were made to enter The Forbidden Land, Eureka within a short period of time, such as re-attempting to enter when an entry request was already being processed (an error would result since the request was on hold), or making repeated attempts to enter within a short span of time.

In this case, the issue resulted from not being able to correctly load data such as content progress and elemental levels pertaining to The Forbidden Land, Eureka when repeated attempts were made to enter within a short period of time, as data was not being correctly linked.
Any elemental levels gained or content progress that is made while the data was not being read correctly was not being saved to the database, due to not being properly linked, resulting in progress being rewound to its previous state.

■Cause of Issue Addressed on Mar. 16, 2018 2:10 a.m. (PDT)
In this pattern, the rewind occurred due to old data that was remaining on the content server being mistakenly saved, as in the following manner.

1. Enter The Forbidden Land, Eureka and raise elemental level to 2.
2. Re-enter The Forbidden Land, Eureka, and raise elemental level from 2 to 3.
3. Enter another content other than The Forbidden Land, Eureka.
4. Upon exiting the content, depending on circumstances, the save would be overwritten with data from step 1.

■Regarding Support for the Rewind Issue
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but if your data for The Forbidden Land, Eureka is rewound due to this issue, please contact us in-game via the following flow: Under the System menu -> Support Desk -> Contact Us -> Report a Bug. Please contact us while playing the character which experienced the rewind issue and provide the following information.

- Time and date of the actions that were affected by the rewind
- Things affected by the rewind
Content progress
Elemental level
Elemental experience points

Currently, we are receiving a large number of player reports regarding this issue. As such, we expect that it should take some time to respond to each report. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience and understanding as we work to process these reports as they come in.

We are taking the following steps to address player reports:

○ Content progress
After comparing your current content progress to progress made before the rewind, we will overwrite your data if your progress from before the rewind was ahead of your current progress.

○ Elemental level, elemental experience points
We will calculate the elemental experience points lost due to the data rewind and add them to your current status.

As such, please be aware that even if you should reenter The Forbidden Land, Eureka before your report is handled, you will not lose any elemental experience points gained in the interim.
