I tried to mix in some other themes from the game. The medieval-like part is supposed to be the ending of "Night in the Brume". I skipped the outro and jumped straight to the final chords. No sheets were used. I did everything by ear and experimenting.
Although I am making music as a hobby, I hope that it is a worthy cover of the original theme

My favourite songs from Final Fantasy XIV?
I'd say my favourite is the Heavensward Trailer theme followed by the whole Crystal Tower OST and Sephirot's theme(the nostalgia in the 1st phase)

I love the creativity and vibes of Soken and Fox working to make really unique and exciting tracks! So I tried to follow that and add my own lyrics to meld with the song! It was really fun to create my own image and recording! I wore warm clothes as if I was in the inn wearing the Glacial Coat! ^^

My favourite songs are Bismarck - " Woe That is Madness", Knights of the Round Theme and Titan Final Fase!

My background is in folk music so I was trying to bring some of that. I was going for a European traditional dance, kinda like the Swedish Masquerade where the time signature changes part way. I was imagining a couple's dance where the first, faster part is like a polka/schottish; and the 2nd slower part is a waltz, promenade or where the dancers find new partners (a chance for them to talk to each other). I did take a bit of artistic liberty on the second slower part, but I think I kept the main elements of the original.

My favourite songs are: Shiva's theme, Midas 4 theme (soo good), and Answers

I loosely arranged the striking parts into a multiple-guitar cover. I figured since it's a somber piece, I'd not use drums or a drumcomputer, but guitar percussion, which I layered towards the end to create a bongo-like feeling. For extra emotion and personal touch, I wrote a solo while often returning to the Ishgard motif to connect with the original piece. At the end, the more somber and sad part gives way to a variation found in the Ishgard day theme, signaling the ending night.

My favorite songs from FF XIV are without ordering:
    Oblivion (Ramuh Primal Theme),
    Heavensward Intro,
Foundation Day (since I already covered night here, I'll mention the day theme )

I've just looked at the NA Forums and I saw that some interpreted "submission title" as giving a name to your arrangement. I have one as well, but I didn't post it since I thought it's supposed to be just the youtube name, just as the others here did. The submission title for my arrangement is "Dawn in the Brume".

Composed by ear in Mixcraft, my rendition blossoms from my first steps into Ishgard - the apprehension felt at receiving cynical glances & being in a new & unfamiliar place.
To discovering the richness & hidden gems of Ishgard as I traveled between the Aethernets. I also added the familiar harp arpeggios for a nostalgic twinge.
The end of the song expresses a regal kind of sorrow. That the Pillars sit above Foundation, riches to rags, a stark contrast; I tried to convey through a choral ending.

Favourite songs from FINAL FANTASY XIV:
"Ul'Dah Night Theme ~ Sultana Dreaming"
    "Garuda's Theme ~ Fallen Angel"
...and I am quite partial to a bit of "Good King Moggle Mog XII" \m/

Good luck to everyone across Eorzea!

'Night in the Brume' is a fantastic track made from Masayoshi Soken, there is so much to the track that it was hard to choose which parts to mix. I originally wanted to do a full orchestral mix, but went with a more chilled, 'nod your head kind of track'. Really happy with how it came out! Everything you hear has been done by ear (I can't read sheet music) and I've added a few other FFXIV related jingles in there too, can you notice them? I also include a little tribute in the track (not sampled, recreated to the best of my ability) as I noticed it followed a similar chord progression. I really hope you enjoy this as much I had making it! Thank you for taking the time to listen! Listen with headphones/watch in 720p for the best quality!

    My top FFXIV tracks:
    Penitus
    Torn from the Heavens
    Borderless

This is my rendition of "Night in the Brume." It's inspired by some of my favorite tracks from past games in the final fantasy series. Some details of the recording are in the video description. Hope you enjoy.

    Top 3 tracks?
Nemesis - This track brings back good memorys. And reminds me of farming Tonberry King for allagan tombstones of philosophy.

Answers - This would definatly have to be one of them. Especialy after hearing it live at Distant worlds in London.

Contention - I could Stand at Zenith all day listening to that track.
